Nothing is more important to your wardrobe like the basic extra soft tee-
Tshirts are just one more perk to Americas new found casual style. Leisure has become a chic way of life, and pairing an easy basic tshirt with a pair of dress pants, great skirt or perfect pair of jeans is the best way to make a simple yet sophisticated statement. I like this style must have because it allows for the other pieces to shine. Jewelry becomes more impactful and so does your bottom pieces and shoes. For spring and beyond, I recommend you invest is simplicity. Being basic is back!

Jazzing up a basic T
It is no surprise that my favorite piece is always something simple. I love to start each season by stocking up on plain jane basic tshirts, tanks, beaters, and thermals. Spring is no exception. I love wearing a basic tshirt that has triblend yarn interest with everything under the sun.
It is especially unique to pair a basic t with an embellished item, or something more dressy.
Three ways to wear the T
#1- Pair your tshirt with a full skirt- jazz this up with an embellished necklace or statement earring and always a lot of bracelets. Finish this with a strappy heel.
#2- Wear your tshirt under a blazer- dressing up a dress down is the best way to make a statement. Blazers are always stuffy workwear appropriate, but can breathe a new life with a fun and easy tshirt underneath. This look is easy for a color popped or embellished pump
#3 Dress Pant play down- putting on a pair of dress pants always sux. But, trying a printed straight ankle length pant with a easy tshirt is both appropriate and casual. Finish with your favorite flats
Recent obsession:: BOOT DRESS
Recently I have begun to see midi lengthed dresses being paired with mid length boots.
A trend I am growing widly obsessed with, primarily because I am rocking this look today and feel like I could not get it more right for early spring weather, but also because I enjoy the silhouette that is created from a boot to dress look that shows very little leg but potentially arms out. The weather is beginning to hint toward no jacket, but jackets can be layered for early morning late afternoon or work.
The key to pulling off this look is by paring it with a mid length dress you have been waiting to wear- This dress could be short sleeve, long sleeve, ¾ sleeve or even sleeveless depending, and can be finished with a great blazer/lt jacket or layering piece. Today, I have paired this quarter length sleeves midi with a great striped scarf to help bring the colors within the dress to life. I have finished my look with a fun suede boot and vintage fossil bangles piled high.
